Themed tables

A different table every game

Roll on 32 themed tables, each with its own props, colours and feel. Set sail on a Pirate Ship, catch a train at the Steam Railway, wait for take-off at the Jet Airliner, or brave the cobwebs of the Haunted Mansion.

There are sports tables too: a basketball court, a ballpark, a hockey rink, a cricket ground and more. Every table cheers its winner in its own way.

  • The Haunted Mansion table: a purple cobwebbed floor, a bat emblem, candles and pumpkins.

Friends, family and friendly bots

Gather everyone round one table, or share a four-letter table code so friends can join from their own homes.

Short of players? Add a bot. Cautious banks early, Steady plays sensibly, and Daredevil pushes its luck. New to the game? Learn to play with tips, against a friendly bot.

Pick a quick race to 2,500, a game to 5,000, or the full 10,000. Play a slow game too: set the turn clock to an hour or a day and get a nudge when it is your turn.

Phones as controllers

The TV is the table. Your phone is the dice cup.

Put the table on a TV, laptop or tablet that everyone can see. Each player joins on their own phone, with no app to install.

  1. Open the game on the big screen. It shows a QR code and a four-letter table code.
  2. Scan the code with your phone, or type the table code in, and pick your name and dice.
  3. Hold to shake, let go to throw. Your dice land on the big screen, and you tap the ones to keep on your phone.

Send a thumbs up, a GG or a friendly phrase across the table, and watch the winner's celebration: snow over the Arctic Igloo, bats in the Haunted Mansion, confetti in the Candy Shop.

Celebrations

Every win gets a party

Reach 10,000 and the table throws you a celebration that matches its theme, with a title to go with it. Win at the Arctic Igloo and you're King of the North. Win in the Jungle Temple and you're a Legend of the Temple.

Seasonal reaction packs add a little extra: hearts for Valentine's, and ghosts and pumpkins for Halloween.

How to play

Farkle is easy to learn and hard to stop playing. Here is a whole turn.

  1. Roll five dice. Some families play with six.
  2. Keep at least one scorer. Set aside any 1s, 5s or three of a kind you want to keep.
  3. Bank it, or push your luck. Bank your points for the turn, or roll the dice that are left to try for more.
  4. Watch out for a Farkle. If a roll has nothing that scores, you lose the points from that turn and play passes on.
  5. Hot dice! If every die scores, pick them all up and roll again.
  6. First to 10,000 wins. When someone gets there, everyone else gets one last turn to catch up.

Scoring basics

Each 1100
Each 550
Three 1s1,000
Three 4s400
Three of any other number100 × the number
A straight1,500

Four or more of a kind and other combinations score more. Most rules also ask for a minimum score, such as 500, in one turn before you're on the board. Every family plays a little differently, so pick a set of house rules or make your own. The game always shows the scores for your table.
